How mobile phones saves middle class students in this pandemic.
Countries around the world have ramped up their response to the novel coronavirus COVID-19, enforcing travel bans and cancelling events, effectively halting the economy, shutting down the schools and colleges. After China, India is the world’s second-largest smartphone market, with nearly half of the country’s one billion mobile users having access to the internet. Everything went online there are few students who stuck in their hostel only with the smartphones , some are not capable to buy a laptop that time they left with the smartphones to attend their classes to give their online paper, students are working so hard to complete their assignments on their smartphones.
Anjali is one of that college going student who is living in another city away from her parents, she stuck in the hostel due to cancellation of trains , she started her online classes with the help of smartphones , she comes from middle class family at that time she doesn’t posses the condition to buy a laptop. Her hostel friends are gone their she was left all alone, there are five girls in the hostel and she doesn’t know anyone, she started feeling depressed and there is know one with whom she can talk or share her feelings , days are passing on situation is getting more worst she is not allowed to go outside the hostel there is a lockdown in the city. Anjali started her college classes on her mobile phone she joined some other online free courses slowly time passed on and in February she is able to join her offline classes.
