Domestic violence a well known as a violent behaviour by one or both partners.  It’s 2020 but we still live in the system of patriarchy, where women are treated as commodity.
In March 2020 a sudden lockdown is proposed by the government. Yes there is something new in the history ”corona virus” well known as COVID-19. It is part of the worldwide pandemic of corona virus disease 2019.
About 86% women who experienced violence never sought help, and 77%of victims did not even mention the incidents to anyone  (The Hindu) .
Indian women filed more domestic violence complaints than recorded in a similar period in the last 10 years. In 2020, between March 25 and May 31. 1,477 protests of abusive behaviour at home were made by ladies.
This 68-day time span recorded a bigger number of objections those got among March and May in the past 10 years.
Perspectives toward aggressive behavior at home assume a significant job in the occurrence and detailing of abusive behavior at home during the lockdown.
